Some of the Rock Tunnels we had to drive through in South Dakota

This is taken of the top of one of the tunnels. This was the only one you could see sky at the top. All the rest were completely closed. They were tight and only one vehicle could go at a time. Wide vehicles would not fit. You could easily touch the rock as you drove through it. We were glad we had a narrow van !

This tunnel wasn't a narrow one. Still only one vehicle at a time though.
