Our curriculum has arrived .......

The day before we got back into Tulsa our school curriculum arrived ! Well part of it anyhow ! It is really expensive to order the whole year at once so we ordered aprox 2 months worth. I am trusting that Gene will have steady work by then so we can order more ! I was way more excited then Chad when it arrived. It is so much more easier for me now. I was having to make all my own curriculum with the help of a few misc. books so of course, it is always easier to just follow a pre made curriculum ! We started using the curriculum this morning. I can see it will take a little time to get my son back in the groove of sitting down for hours and doing school books. He has been so blessed these past 3 weeks with hands on learning. We would do school work nights in the campgrounds or in the van as we drove but most of the day was spent taking in all the things most children only see in a textbook. We chose to use the ACE Pace system. Mainly because we can order it through out the year as needed instead of putting $600.00 up front for the whole year. I felt overjoyed when looking through the paces last night and discovered that every subject has a bible verse to learn through out the pace. There are also little comic strips through out that reinforce biblical values :) No matter what subject we are studying Chad will also will be learning more about God and his word. Eugene and I have had paces at certain times in our school years. I only had them for 8th and 9th grade. Gene a little longer. We both feel they are great for elementary grades. When Chad gets older we will not be satisfied with them and want to put him in a school but for now they are truly perfect ! How refreshing to know that my son will be getting a great education instilled with biblical principals through out ! Blessings,
