The trip to the Dallas farmers market was a nice experience. They are open every day to 6 pm. We had gotten there at 5:30 pm so most everybody was already packed up for the day. We did buy a pineapple though from a nice man and also had the chance to chat with a guy who sells meat with no added hormones, ext. This gentleman actually was familiar with Lancaster county and told us he had an Amish friend ( in Indiana maybe ? ) that he would go stay with sometimes. He also shared with us that he has visited every state except Alaska !
