FOR THOSE WHO LOVE JEWELRY

For all those who love jewelry or know someone who loves jewelry, have I some exciting news for you ! I have recently become a lia sophia advisor. I started out as a customer but shortly discovered I loved the jewelry so much that I needed a new form of income to help feed this addiction. So I asked myself, Why not sell the jewelry ? I can now happily feed my addiction without the guilt ! One of the many great things about lia sophia is they have quality pieces with a life time replacement guarantee. This is a company that has been around for 35 years and is going strong ! there is always a sale at lia sophia and you get to pick what is on sale ! That's a sale worth bragging about ! When you buy 2 pieces you can always get a third piece at half off. Your third half off item is ALWAYS the most expensive priced item. That needs to be repeated, YOUR MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM IS YOUR HALF OFF ITEM !!!! In addition to this amazing sale we also offer monthly sales to compliment it. For instance July and August are offering some of my most favorite sales ever ! You won't believe the discounts they are offering ! I would love to be" Your Personal Lia Sophia Advisor, Stacy ". My goal is to help you add value to any outfit at the best possible price ! I have found that wearing a stunning piece of jewelry can really boost ones confidence. To find out more and to just show your support I kindly ask that you clink on the following link and "like" my face book page. I greatly appreciate this and thank you in advance :) Just clink on the following link on the side of my blog ;)

Update of the shortest kind........home :)

It is Sat morning and my hubby is not home so I thought I might have a few minutes to do some quick catching up ! We have been in our new home for a few months now. There is still work to be done ( painting, new flooring, ext ) along with a room that still has boxes to the ceiling. I know one of these days I am going to have to open that door and face that mountain of boxes....one of these days :) For those who don't know what has happened in the last few months I will give a quick update. Gene and I were feeling like the Lord had spoke some things to us. We were trying to figure out just what those things meant in detail. We knew God had a house for us and a "new life" for us but getting there sure was a battle ! The enemy fought us at every step . To say we were never discouraged would be a lie. There were some days where I cried myself to sleep. The journey was not easy but oh how it was worth it ! To sum up a very long story we had our search down to a few houses. One which was practically brand new in a development and another extremely cheap one at $60,000. The $60,000 one was a cute home in town. It needed some work but had the most adorable yard ever ! We told the Realtor we needed some time to think (2 days ). He said take your time there are no showings on the house. . As much as we loved the new house we knew God was telling us not to go into a 30 year mortgage again but to find a place we could pay off within 5 years or less. So on the second day we called to say we wanted the $60,000 house. A few minutes after our call our realtor called back upset saying he doesn't know how it happened but the house was shown by someone else in his office and sold in those two days ! I was very disappointed. I still didn't feel a peace about buying the new home. The developers contractor was an older lady that also lived in the development. She loved us to say the least. She really wanted us in there and kept calling us back with better and better offers. She was willing to personally finance the whole house to us and additionally kept throwing in better things. She was a christian lady with money and really wanted us as her neighbors ! I knew we could live in the house and be happy. Even look so "blessed" by the worlds standards. Yet I couldn't shake the feeling we were suppose to be debt free as soon as possible. I had to finally call her and tell her that as much as we loved it and appreciated her generosity that we had to walk away from it. As soon as I did that I knew something was released in the spiritual sense. Shortly after God blessed us with the home we are now in! It is a 3 bedroom 1,500 square foot single home in town. It is not what I had before in the worlds eyes but IT IS SO much more then I ever had in my and mine families eyes. This is the house the Lord gave us. We did not choose this house , the Lord chose it for us. It is not fancy but it is perfect. This home became ours by nothing short of a miracle. One day I hope to write a book about all of this with more details. For now I will say we ended up purchasing this home much, much, much cheaper then even the $60,000 home. We bought it at an auction that wasn't advertised until AFTER we had already purchased it! God had placed a number in my heart that sounded crazy to me and my husband but that's what we bought it for ! I couldn't believe it , I wasn't crazy after all ! LOL We borrowed some money to purchase our home and by the end of the year it will be paid back. We will celebrate this Christmas with no mortgage ! To God be all the glory for that ! As soon as I figure out how to post pics on this computer I will give you a peak into my new home :)

Something to share......

This is something I read from the Elijah list. We are allowed and encouraged to copy and share so that is what I am doing with this one. I enjoy reading the words that comes through this ministry. There are some days you know the word is really for you on a more personal level cause they grab your heart and the Holy spirit within says recieve ! While this isnt one of those that has grabbed my heart as much as others I still think it is really good and just want to share it. I believe this is a great word for all believers. I hope you enjoy ! Bobby Conner:Maintain Simplicity - It is the Humble Heart God Responds to The Spirit of God said to me, "The most profound thing you can do is to maintain simplicity!" One of the quickest ways to spot man-made religious systems is: they are always active, extremely busy, working hard, making complicated and complex what God has made simple. Our quest should be to maintain and preserve, at all cost, a childlike heart. Yes, we are to move to marks of maturity, however, on the journey we must never lose our childlike nature in our response to Christ. Remember God resists the proud, and He gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5).Christ Jesus was asked a pointed question, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? It is incredibly important that we understand and comprehend His response in Matthew 18:1-5:At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me."This response from our Lord is totally opposite of man's way of thinking; religion is always seeking to "wow" others with our knowledge and theological grasp of issues. Yet, Jesus reveals it is a humble childlike heart that is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. This passage releases understanding and insights concerning our need to become humble and childlike, not childish. It would seem that becoming childlike and conversion go hand and hand, regardless of age. Children are normally characterized by simplicity, profound trustfulness, and honesty. Such qualities in a man lead him to Christ and conversion. The Problem: Human NatureA huge obstacle to becoming childlike is pride. Haughty pride is a basic part of human nature. People seek to do things that exalt themselves over others. The only way to be what God intends people to be is to be childlike, and cast aside arrogant self-exaltation. A terrible sin to fall prey to is the sin of self-centeredness.According to Scripture, even the Disciples of Christ struggled with this plaguing problem of self-centeredness in Mark 9:33-37: Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, "What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?" But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, "If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all." Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, "Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.Again this subject of wrong motives is dealt with in Luke 9:46-48: Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, "Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great."Christian CharacterTo understand Jesus' instructions about humility, one must observe children. Their sense of innocence, directness, and trust give us keys to comprehending what it means to be humble in the Kingdom of God. This humility is acted out before God, but its credibility is visible as we act toward others with a true sense of their worth and of the gifts they bring to the Kingdom's work. One of the swiftest pathways to spiritual promotion is "servant-hood!"Paul states that he did not attempt to reach the people with human wisdom and eloquent words but rather he chose to present the person and passion of Christ Jesus. 1 Corinthians 2: 1-5: And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.We too, will do well to lift up Christ and His Cross to a hurting world. This is the simple message with a profound impact on all who respond. Keep it simple!

Valentines Day !

Happy Valentines Day to all my readers ! My day started off with me jumping out of bed thinking, O man , I overslept ! I heard the trash truck outside and saw Eugene wasn't in bed anymore. It really was only 8:30 but found out later Gene got up at 7. I went to let the dogs out and saw my wonderful husband already had them out.
