Hopewell Furnace on Dec. 5th 2009
We went to Hope well furnace on Dec. 5th for a free special event they were having ! It was a perfect day. Right when we got there it started snowing.......making it all the more special ! Chad asked me if he thinks the horse will remember us. I said I don't know we will have to wait and see. When we walked over I went off to the side as others were visiting with him. As soon as I got near the fence the horse walked away from everybody and over to us. They started laughing and asking why.......I told Chad look I guess he does remember us ! That made Chad happy.... and ok I admit it ........made me happy too ! LOL
Early attempts.......
I am so behind on this it is unbelievable. You as the reader probably could care less but for me I am using this as a reference to later go back when I scrapbook for Chad. By later I mean sadly, MUCH later....it seems like I will never catch up on all the things I want to accomplish. I am so behind on Chad's scrapbooks it is almost as if I never begun ! LOL This season of my life is going so very slowly and yet so very fast at the same time. My parents home ( where we are currently staying ) is starting to look more and more like Christmas every day. Now if we could just get the empty tree in the living room decorated ! haha ( I am suppose to being doing that with Chad today and yet to have started !) Here are some of our early attempts at decorating around here. Each day it has gotten more festive !

Chad's turkey ( this was was drawn BEFORE Thanksgiving ! :) )
Chad's finished turkey.......... it was able to grace our precence for a couple days before it had to be packed away to make room for Christmas decorations !
I actually really loved this art project and it came out so cute !
Finally on December 1st we finished our turkey ! Next year we will try to get any and all Thanksgiving art projects done BEFORE Thanksgiving ! LOL

My brother came home for Thanksgiving ! 2009
My brother came home for Thanksgiving ! That was fun. I am sure his fiance Jonna was happy ! Daniel let Chad shoot his bow which Chad has been waiting to do ! I love Daniel so much and miss him :( *** I am sooooo glad he will be back again for Christmas :)
Will I ever catch up ?
I have to say the foremost thought on my mind right now is ~ Will I ever catch up ? By the way, to all my readers, Happy Thanksgiving ! Late yes I know, but from the heart none the less. Just a really tired behind the way heart ! LOL Thanks giving for us was a nice day with the exception of my husband Eugene feeling sick. Which by the way he has now passed on to me. Thing is though, he only felt sick for a few days where I have been feeling run down and ill ever sense ! Probably one of the reasons I feel so behind and wonder if I will catch up in time for the next holiday. On December first I finally helped Chad finish his turkey for art class.......and the thought of all the art projects waiting to be finished from now till Dec. 25th really has me tired out ! But with $ being tight the art projects are also gifts hence they really should be completed on time ! LOL
Ordered some more of Chad's curriculum yesterday. Another $150.00 worth and still will have one more hefty order to go before the year is over......just hoping come Monday we still have at least 1 cent in our available balance ! I read an article yesterday about a family that went through all their existing stuff to find their Christmas presents. Sounds wonderfully inexpensive :) Problem is my stuff is behind a storage door and when you open it ~ WOLA ! You can't even take one step in the unit ! LOL
Every year at this time I ask myself just how sad do we make Jesus ? I mean isn't this HIS birthday coming up ? When I reminded Chad there won't be as many gifts this year he was really sad. Which in turn made me sad. Sad for two reasons....
Just deleted a bunch as I was getting too deep for a light reading ! ha
I have added some pictures of our food prep for Thanksgiving. Let me clarify that ...our cooking class "food prep" for "thanksgiving" ! Let's just say I could have blogged just about that day in it self ! I spent the day with Chad in the kitchen. Even though we only made 3 three things it took a really long time. I was so tired by time we were done ! And the cupcakes.....arrrr.....sence when do cupcakes only need the egg white in them ? I mean how big of a deal can it be anyway ........ 8 yr olds can't separate an egg white from the rest ex specially when my egg white separator is in storage ! And that green icing with too much milk added......so yummy looking ! Ok.....so they were kinda a flop........but Chad had fun......so shhhh ! Don't tell him !
